Where your data is

On your device. If you turned sync on, also in a folder called Everygrid in your own Google Drive, as plain JSON files any text editor can open. The privacy policy lists exactly which file holds what.

Getting a copy of your data

Your data is yours to take at any time, on any tier. With sync on, Settings → About my data → Open in Drive takes you to the folder. The files are yours to read, download or copy anywhere.

Deleting your data

Every control lives inside the app, and each one acts immediately:

• Stop syncing on this device — Settings → About my data. Your Drive keeps every file.
• Delete my Drive data — Settings → About my data. The app deletes the files it created and names every one of them on screen as it goes.
• Withdraw access at Google — myaccount.google.com/linkedapps. Everygrid's reach into your Drive ends; the files stay where they are.

Cancelling a subscription

Apple and Google hold your subscription, so you cancel with them — the app puts that flow two taps away in Settings. Refunds are theirs to issue for the same reason. If something has gone wrong, write to us anyway; we would rather know.

Reminders arriving late

Your phone's scheduler delivers reminders. Android in particular delays and batches notifications to save battery, and holds them while the device is in Doze. That is expected behaviour, and it is why we describe reminders as approximate rather than punctual.

Reporting a bug

Write to support@everygrid.app with your device model, the OS version, and what you expected to happen. If it involves sync, say whether both devices were online.
